Pricing & Plans

Straightforward prices, no surprises. Re-rolls are always included — you never pay twice because a print came out light.

Two ways to book

Come to us, or we come to you

Office appointments are priced to match the going rate in Raleigh. Mobile visits are priced separately, because taking the Live Scan system on the road costs more than running it at the desk.

Cost comparison between office appointments and mobile visits, one card each
One card eachAt our officeWe come to you
1 person$38$130 $75 trip + 1 × $55
5 people$190$300 $75 trip + 5 × $45
10 people$380$400 10 × $40, no trip fee
25 people$950$875 25 × $35, no trip fee

Coming to us is cheaper for smaller numbers. From about 20 people the trip fee disappears and the on-site rate drops below our office price — so for a big group, us coming to you costs less.

Structure 2 — we come to you

Mobile & On-Site Group Rates

Law firms, clinics, schools and corporate offices across the Triangle. A trip fee covers getting the equipment there; the per-person rate falls as the group grows.

Per person, on site

  • 1–4 people $55/person on site
  • 5–9 people $45/person on site
  • 10–19 people $40/person on site
  • 20–49 people $35/person on site
  • 50 or more people Call for a volume quote

Every person gets the same FBI-certified capture and quality check as an office appointment, and cards are printed on site.

Travel

A mobile visit ties up a technician, a vehicle and the equipment, so travel is billed separately from the per-person rate.

Trip fee, within 20 miles of our Raleigh office
$75
Beyond 20 miles
$0.76/mile
Groups of 10 or more
Trip fee waived

Mileage is charged at the IRS business standard rate. After-hours and weekend visits can be arranged.

Got a bigger group than we list here?

We handle 50, 100 and 200+ person onboarding events. Call us and we'll build a schedule, quote the volume rate, and bring enough capacity to keep the queue moving.

ATF Portal electronic filing

We file your prints electronically to the ATF Portal for Form 4, NFA and FFL applications.

Add $20

Captured once

Your prints stay on file

Because we capture digitally rather than rolling ink onto a card, your record lives in our Live Scan system after you leave.

Need another card later?

We print it from the record we already hold. No second appointment, no sitting down to be re-rolled, no re-inking your fingers.

Card rejected by an agency?

Agencies sometimes reject a card for reasons that have nothing to do with print quality. We reprint from your file and you are back in the post the same day.

Held securely

Records are stored under the safeguards required by the FBI's CJIS Security Policy, which we are trained on annually. Ask us any time what we hold for you.

Reprints from a record already on file are $25 per card — no appointment, and no minimum of two.

What every appointment includes

Prices cover the fingerprinting appointment itself. Printing your prints onto an FD-258 card carries no extra transaction fee. Electronic submission to the FBI through a channeler adds a separate federal transaction fee, which we confirm when you book.

  • Capture on FBI Appendix F certified Live Scan equipment
  • As many re-rolls as it takes — never an extra charge
  • Image quality checked before you leave
  • Your record kept on file so reprints never mean re-rolling
  • Guidance on which card and agency form you need

Why our prints cost a little more

Rejected prints are the expensive part of fingerprinting — a re-do means another trip, another fee, and weeks added to your application. We spend more on capture so you spend less on doing it twice.

  • Our scanner is certified to FBI Appendix F, the FBI's most stringent image-quality tier — the one built for large-scale one-to-many matching. It meets the lower PIV standard by definition.
  • Rolled and flat impressions are captured digitally, so we can see and fix a poor print on the spot rather than discovering it weeks later.
  • Some providers in the Triangle still roll ink by hand only, with no way to check quality before the card is mailed.
  • Worn, scarred or faint prints are routine for us — we re-roll as many times as it takes, at no extra charge.
  • Your capture is kept on file, so a second card later is a reprint rather than a second appointment.
